HOW DO PPSOP ON-LINE PHOTOGRAPHY COURSES WORK?

No matter where you live, play, work or travel in the world, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET, you can participate in any number of photography classes offered by the greatest on-line photography school in the world! It’s really that easy! The only hard part about our on-line photography school is deciding which of the more than 20 courses we offer will benefit you the most. Once you have made your decision and signed up for your course(s), you will receive a confirmation via e-mail and a log-in and password.

  1. Enter your log-in and password on the home page and click SUBMIT.

  2. You now find yourself in your classroom, and in this example, the class is The Art of Seeing.

  3. On the left you will see a menu: clicking PROFILE will reveal up 3 different topics.

  4. Clicking on MY PHOTO allows you to enter your name and email address, and optionally, your address, city/state/country/phone and your email address. In addition, you are encouraged to upload 6-8 of your photographs. This shows us and your fellow students what it is you like to shoot and tells us what kind of equipment you use. When you click on ROSTER, you can see your fellow students, (assuming they uploaded a self-portrait) and learn what they like to shoot, what kind of camera gear they own, and, if they filled out the form, where they live. And if for any reason you need or want to change your password, you can do so here as well by simply clicking on PASSWORD.

  5. Every student has questions when taking a class and it is here where you type your question and it is here where the instructor responds. Depending on what question(s) you ask could also generate a response from more than just the instructor as many of the students are anxious to share their own experiences too e.g. What tripod would you recommend? What do you think of the Sigma…I am thinking of buying the Nikon D300 and...Is it worth the extra money to buy Canon’s 70-200mm f/2.8 lens versus...

  6. Depending on the course(s) you have enrolled in will determine if you are taking a 4 or 8-week course. When class begins, everyone will receive, on the first day of class (always a Friday) and for the next 4 or 8 consecutive Fridays, a lesson. Clicking on LESSON will reveal that lesson and of course you can take as much time as you wish to read it as well as download it to your desktop as a WORD document or as a PDF File. It is yours to refer to time and time again, even after class has officially ended.

  7. With each weekly lesson you will also be given a photography assignment that allows you to put into practice what you just learned from the lesson. Clicking on Assignment will reveal that weekly assignment and given the time in between assignments, you will have seven days to complete it.

  8. Once you have finished your assignment you will than upload your photographs where they are all grouped together with every student in the class. In addition to seeing your own photos posted here, you will also see everyone else’s photographs. Students are encouraged to make comments on the work of their peers, and to do so you simply click on the COMMENT box. For the instructor, he/she has a different page, a page that allows him/her to view each students work independent of the others and also a page that allows him/her to not only write a detailed critique, but also he/she is able to download the image to their own desktop and make changes to that photograph that would improve it. This photograph is than re-loaded so it appears under the student’s original photograph, along with the comments made by the instructor. Once the weekly critiques are done, EVERY students is able to see EVERONE’S critique as every student agrees, this is perhaps the highlight and most beneficial part of our courses here at PPSOP.

Taking an on-line photography course at PPSOP will prove to be the most exciting, challenging, rewarding, stimulating and fun photography course you will ever take-GUARANTEED! If after receiving your first lesson you don’t agree, we will gladly refund 100% of the moneys paid. Why settle for just a better photo, when you can take a Perfect Picture with the help of the world-class instructors at The Perfect Picture School of Photography!
