Nature and Landscape photography
|
|
| Instructor: Sean Arbabi Duration: 4
Weeks Cost: US$195 |
As a 20-year pro who has captured images in the outdoors since his teens, Sean offers a great course on how to create wonderful nature and landscape images. Besides having a wealth of photographic knowledge and experience, Sean has a passion for turning what he sees in front of him into a powerful photograph that connects with others. He recently wrote his second book, The Complete Guide to Nature Photography, due out in the fall of 2011, and this course closely matches the information, research, images and examples he provides in this new publication.
Each lesson is packed with information, following a step-by-step approach to the art of nature photography. Sean also adds his unique perspective on the subject with a touch of real world scenarios as well as a philosophical angle to tap into his thought process as well as your unique view of the natural world. There is so much more to producing great nature and landscape imagery than to picking up your camera and getting out there. So many are frustrated by their results, and Sean's goal for this course is to change that. How many times have you had an amazing scene in front of you yet didn't have an idea on how to best document it? Or wondered why your outdoor images lacked impact when compared to others? In over 12 years of teaching photography in the field and online, Sean has always had the knack to help students rise to another level with their work.
From how to research and organize to the gear you want to carry, Sean's first lesson taps into a critical first step in the process - safety and preparation. Then, in Weeks 2 and 3, he jumps into the most important topics of composition, lighting, and exposure- all critical toward finding the scenes you want to capture and creating the best image file in camera. Then Sean addresses others aspects including flash, filters, and post-capture editing. When it comes to nature and landscape photography, this course will show you how to plan, what to look for, and how to capture it, adding quality to your outdoor photography!
